Learn More About Our                                                      Infant Vaccine Study in Chamblee, GA

Your baby’s health matters, and so do your questions. Our ObjectiveHealth team in Chamblee is here to help you learn about an investigational pneumococcal vaccine being studied in infants and compared to Prevnar 20®, an approved pneumococcal vaccine. Asking for information does not commit your family to joining.

About the Study

The investigational vaccine in this study is called PG4. “Investigational” means the vaccine is still being studied. Babies are assigned by chance to receive either PG4 or Prevnar 20®; there is no placebo group.

The study team will explain the possible risks, potential benefits, and what participation involves before you decide. Receiving a vaccine through the study does not guarantee protection.

What is Pneumococcal Disease?

Pneumococcal disease is caused by bacteria that can lead to infections such as pneumonia, meningitis, and some ear infections. Researchers are studying an investigational vaccine designed to cover more types of these bacteria.
