If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with, or may be at risk for Fatty Liver Disease (MASH), you may be eligible to participate in a clinical research study evaluating an investigational treatment.

About the Study

The Fatty Liver Study is a Phase 2a clinical research study for approximately 160 adults with MRI-confirmed or clinically defined MASH that evaluates the safety and effectiveness of investigational treatments for Fatty Liver Disease (MASH) over a 12-week treatment period. The investigational medications are taken by mouth once daily.

What is MASH?

Fatty Liver Disease, also known as MASH, stands for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis. It is a liver disorder, linked to metabolic issues, that causes fat to build up within the liver. Fat buildup leads to inflammation and ultimately scarring of the liver. MASH often does not have symptoms, but over time, the scarring can become advanced, resulting in cirrhosis and even liver failure.

You may qualify to participate in the study if you are between ages 18–75 and meet one of the following criteria:

Have you ever had a diagnosis of Fatty Liver Disease (MASH)?

Risk Factors
2+ RISK FACTORS

Or, do you have 2 or more of the risk factors below?

Risk Factor Eligibility

In the absence of a MRI-confirmed diagnosis of Fatty Liver Disease (MASH), you may still qualify to participate in the study if you have at least two of the following conditions or risk factors associated with the disease:

Obesity (BMI 27+)

Type 2 Diabetes

High Blood Pressure

High Cholesterol

High Triglycerides
